The size of the rock you choose can be dictated by the machinery you have to move the rocks around. Anything bigger than 400 – 500mm diameter, you’ll need machinery. For larger rocks, we recommend:
- 1.7T excavator: up to ~800mm
- 3T excavator: up to ~1m
- 5T excavator: up to ~1.2m
- 8T excavator: up to ~1.5m
Bigger than that? You’re into 20T+ excavator territory.
