The difference between Pink and Blue Mudstone?
Quite often we get the question what’s the difference between pink mudstone and blue mudstone and it comes down to a few things. Blue mudstone is actually a blasted product so it can be a lot more angular and it’s got this lovely blue as well as bronzy, coppery tones through it, while the pink mudstone is predominantly the same colour, there’s a bit of variation within the stone, but it is that more pink sort of purple hue. And it’s much more blocky, useful for sort of not just retaining but also for being able to be stacked on top of each other.
